Alfonso Cuaron wanted Emma Watson in 'Children of Men'

Did you know?

Back in 2005, the director Alfonso Cuaron wanted Emma Watson to play Kee in his film 'Children of Men' after directing her in 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'. But because Emma had 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire', she had to pass and the role went to Claire-Hope Ashitey.

Incredible. Would have had a different feeling, I think.

I remember at the time hoping that Emma would play the part. I remember that I was disappointed. I think it would have been good for her to play other roles as Hermoine, eventhough I love the character. Emma would have had some flexibility in roles. She just got glued in a role. The way she acts have been a version of hermoine- even a bling ring- a hermoine gone wrong-just my opinion-.

couldn't disagree more, emma was hilarious in the bling ring and she acted nothing, nothing, like hermione. emma showed range with the potter films alone with their progression, but she showed in perks, the bling ring, noah and colonia that she has put hermione behind her easily
